Our Programs, Clubs & More
Our faith is rooted in the Word of God. Therefore we believe that Christian education and learning is essential for people of all ages. The following are just some of the programs we offer throughout the year for members of our congregation and the community.
Children’s Worship, Sunday School & Catechism Classes    Adult Fellowship and Bible Classes
GEMS (Girls Everywhere Meeting the Savior) Family Fun and Fellowship
Children’s Worship, Sunday School & Catechism Classes
Children’s Worship, Sunday School, and Catechism Classes instruction in the Bible and the Christian faith is available to all children and young people of the congregation and the community. 
  • The Children’s Worship class, ages 4 - grade 1, meet during the morning worship service.
  • Sunday School classes, grade 1 - 9 and Catechism classes, grade 10 - 12, meet before the morning service from 9:30 – 10:15.
GEMS Girls Club

GEMS (Girls Everywhere Meeting the Saviour) is a Christian program for girls ages 6-15, seeking to bring them into a true relationship with Jesus Christ.  Along with Bible lessons, there is Badge work, crafts, and outings.  The meetings are held on alternate Fridays at the church from 7 - 9 PM.

Adult Fellowship and Bible Classes
There are a number of Adult Bible Classes that run throughout the year, including:
Mens Breakfast at Smitty’s Restaurant
This small group meets at Smitty’s Restaurant at 9 AM on Saturday mornings for breakfast, Bible Study and fellowship.
Praise Team
The Praise Team meets two or three Tuesday nights a month for a time of praise and fellowship.  They also spend time learning new music that that can be taught to the congregation and help lead worship services about once a month.  Anyone who loves to sing and/ or can play an instrument is welcome!
Seniors Bible Study & Lunch
Once a month (Tuesday) the seniors of our church as well as a number of seniors from the community meet for a time of fellowship and Bible Study.  They end their morning with lunch served by the Social Committee.
Women's Bible Study
This group of women meets weekly for a time of Bible Study and fellowship.  They currently meet every Tuesday morning except for the Senior’s Tuesday.
Community Garden
Justice League
The Justice League is a new small group/Bible study that started up within our church. It's purpose is to study issues of social justice from a Biblical perspective, to receive and pass on justice initiatives from the denomination, and pursue activities that promote justice and reconciliation in our church and community. One of their current projects is our Community Garden.
Family Fun & Fellowship
Annual Church Bazaar
The whole church participates in the annual church luncheon, yard sale, bake sale and bazaar that takes place in late November or early December.  The money collected at the Bazaar is then distributed by the Bazaar Committee to cover off the costs of various church projects.
Potluck Dinners/ Church Picnics
Two to three times a year the church tries to gather to enjoy a meal together and spend some time in fellowship.
Annual Church Camp at Kejimkujik National Park
For many years our church has enjoyed camping at Keji in July.  The camp usually starts on a Thursday at noon and is concluded with a worship service on Sunday morning.  It is a wonderful time together as family and church family.  The park offers many activities including swimming, biking, hiking, canoeing and much more!
